Simpsons Ride opens at Universal Orlando it looks krusty
The Simpsons brand keeps on getting bigger, the longest running animated show in history, which also became a box office smash with a full length film, now has its own theme park ride.
The Simpsons amusement park attraction opened on Thursday at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, and identical ride will open on Monday at Universal Studios in Hollywood this coming Monday.
The Ride is based around the simpsons clown Krusty. Visitors to the new Simpsons Roller coaster will walk through a 8 foot tall and 36 foot wide Krust head. During the ride you will see images from the simpsons , using Imax Film Projection technology.
Once you are through the ride you enter the Kwik-E-Mart convenience store, run by Apu. In their you can get Krusty Cereal, Pink Donuts and Flaming Moes Energy Drink.
Other Attractions include Krusty’s Wet & Smokey Stunt Show, Happy Little Elves in Panda Land and Captain Dinosaur’s Pirate Rip Off.
The opening ceremony included people dressed with Marge Simpsons Blue hats and people dressed as simpsons characters.
The ride cost $40m to build and took two years the ride replaces the back to the future ride.
