The Spice Girls who are currently doing a series of london dates at the O2 Arena have announced an extra date to their spice girls reunion tour. The Spice Girls tour will play the Men Arena Manchester on Saturday 26th January 2008.

This will be their third date in Manchester as part of their huge “The Return of the Spice Girls Show”

Tickets went on sale at 10am this morning ( Thursday 20th December 2007)

The rumours that Michael Jackson is to tour again in 2008 wil not go away. The latest rumour is that Michael Jackson will perform a series of comeback concerts at the London O2 Arena ( the former Millenium Dome), there is even talk he will have a residency like Prince and perform a whole series of dates.
The troubled star is said to have financial problems so a residency at the O2 Arena would certainly help get him some money in fast. Michael Jackson still has a huge following and a massive back catalogue of hits and it is sure to be a big hit.

Celine Dion perfomed her final show in Las Vegas at the weekend, when she performed her A New Day Concert for the 717st time at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas after nearly five years. The tour took a massive £198m since March 2003.

The ending of her Las Vegas residency has freed her to go on a world tour entitled the Escapades Tour. UK fans can see Celine Dion Live in May 2008 when the tour hits the UK.

The isle of wight festival 2008 has sold out in a few days of going on sale, all 50,000 tickets have been sold, with the hot line up which includes The Police, The Sex Pistols and The Kaiser Chiefs fans have been quick to snap up their tickets.

Ither acts on the line up include The Enemy, James, The Zutons, Kate Nash, Iggy & The Stooges KT Tunstall, Ian Brown, The Kooks, N.E.R.D, The Hoosiers, And Scouting For Girls who will all take to the stage over the 3 days of the sell out festival on 13th, 14th & 15th June 2008.

We have already seen tickets changing hands on fans exhange sites for £180 pound each on sites such as Seatwave

The Benicassim Festival or the FIB Heineken has announced the first names for the 2008 festival. My blood valentine will beplaying
alongside Babyshambles and the Rumblestrips.

Benicassim is a small town between Valencia and Barelona and it is becoming more and more popular every year, with lots of british fans making the trip to a festival with near guaranteed sunshine. The FIB Heineken Festival takes place on the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th July 2008.
