Take That Tickets Stampede begins
Take That Tickets for 2009 Summer Tour went on sale at 9am, it is likely to be a huge mad rush to get tickets, with the main tickets agents servers taking huge strain. Take That are to play a series of huge summer concerts in the biggest stadiums in the UK including Wembley Stadium, Hampden Park, Millenium Stadium Cardiff, Sunderlands Stadium of Light, and the home town gigs at Lancashire Cricket Ground Old Trafford.
The Tour will support their new album The Circus, the tour is entitled Take That Present The Circus Live – Summer 2009. Take That release their brand new album. The Circus, on 1st December 2008, this album follows thier nine time platimum album Beautiful World The first single from the album will be the Greatest Day.
Take That are promising their most spectacular concerts yet, and having been to their amazing 2006 reunion concert at Manchester Stadium of Light they will have to come up with something amazing and knowing the boys they probably will
And that was just the beginning. Take That’s last album Beautiful World sold more than two and half million copies in the UK, making it their most successful record to date. The subsequent 2007 Beautiful World Tour smashed all box office records, selling over 370,000 tickets in less than two hours. Since reclaiming their place as Britain’s best-loved band, Take That have played live to over a million people across the UK and Europe and the live DVDs they released in the wake of both tours were the biggest selling music titles of 2006 (The Ultimate Tour) and 2007 (Beautiful World Live). They have also won a string of prestigious awards including an Ivor Novello for single Shine with Mark Owen on lead vocals, and three Brit Awards: Best Single (2007) for Patience, Best Single (2008) for Shine and Best Live Act (2008).
