3 days of Liverpool Music Week left


The 11 day Liverpool Music Week Festival ends on Sunday at Alma Da Cuba, by this time over 50 events will have been hosted.

On Sunday liverpool singer Candie Payne and the Sense Of Sound Choir will perform tracks, and then the choir will perform well known songs.
Sense of sound have perfromed with Seal, Damon Albarn, Brain Eno and Imogen Heap this year.

Liverpool music events keep on coming with events at these great venues Aintree Pavilion, Liverpool University, Bumper, Alma Da Cuba, Hannah’s Bar, Magnet, Djangos Riff, Barfly, Korova, Metropolitan, Zanzibar, Parr Street, Dragon and Static Gallery.

Liverpool Music Week Myspace Winner Announced

The Other Runners winners of myspace battle of bands

The winner of the Myspace Battle of the Bands competition for Liverpool Music Week has been announced.


The Band were chuffed to have won. “Thank you to everyone that voted for us, and helped us win the Battle Of The Band Competition. We hope to see you all down at the gig on Thursday for what will be a great night.”

Over 7000 entries were entered including an act from Peru!!! The Winner however are The Other Runners a 5 piece from adptly Liverpool!!

They played the Hannah Bar at Hardman Street tonight.

Liverpool Music Week More Acts added

Liverpool Music Week kicks off next Thursday with 2 almighty launch parties at New Young Pony Club kick off the celebrations on The indie/electronic band from London have received rave reviews off the back of their tour with Lily Allen and at this years Creamfields festival and has marked them as one of 2007’s most talked about must hear, must see bands.   They will be supported by Ezra Band & Hot Machine and local band Delta Fiasco who recently took the roof off a sell out gig at Korova.
